Anne Law

Treasurer

Anne’s love of Book of Mormon archaeology grew naturally through her many interactions and adventurous trips with her father, Garth Norman. She loved following him to see sunrise and sunset alignments, listening to his many presentations on ancient studies then traveling with him to see those sites through the Americas. She continues to chase sunsets and sunrises and to share and promote her fathers life’s work whenever possible.

She also loves to share her testimony of the Book of Mormon. Some of her earliest memories of the Book of Mormon were reading it around the kitchen table with the family. Reading and studying the scriptures together growing up provided Anne with the spiritual foundation that God is her loving Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ truly came to earth as his beloved son, to minister, teach, love and heal all who choose to follow him. She strives daily to be a better disciple of Christ, to reflect his love and light to all those around her. She is grateful for the knowledge that generations of family linked together through God’s sealing power on the earth today, are always near, watching over us and cheering us on.

A lifelong resident of Utah County, Anne also grew up surrounded by music and followed her mothers music career path, training at an early age in both piano and violin and becoming a teacher in her teens. Anne has taught Piano and/or Violin for more than 45 years. She currently has a full Suzuki Violin studio.

She enjoys sharing her love of music as a symphony member, which also began in her teens. She was a member of Utah Valley Youth Symphony, the Mormon Youth Symphony, BYU Philharmonic Orchestra and Chamber Orchestra, and currently plays with the Utah Valley Symphony Orchestra which she has been a member of for 20 years. Some of her favorite performances with community orchestras are to perform the Messiah and Lamb of God. Anne and her husband Tim, married for 40 years, are more than proud of their 4 incredible sons, amazing daughter, their beautiful partners and 7 adventurous fun loving grandchildren. Life is full and they feel richly blessed.
