Spencer Kraus is a researcher for the Ancient America Foundation. He graduated from Brigham Young University with a bachelor’s degree in computer science, modern Hebrew, and Ancient Near Eastern Studies. He has published on multiple areas relating to the Book of Mormon, the Bible, and the history of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints through venues including the Interpreter Foundation, FAIR, Scripture Central, and BYU Religious Studies Center. He has worked as a researcher for Scripture Central (2019–2025) where he contributed to over 160 KnoWhy and Evidence articles. Currently, he is also working with Lincoln Blumell on topics relating to early Christianity and the New Testament, including a commentary on the Johannine Epistles for the BYU New Testament Commentary series.
